I enjoy helping organizations apply the latest findings from behavioral science. To date, I have presented to groups in 12 countries. My clients include The Gap, General Mills, Mercedes-Benz, United States Custom and Border Protection, and Standard Chartered Bank.

For 20 years, I have explored some of the most fascinating aspects of psychology including the itch of curiosity, the overlooked upside of unpleasant emotions, and the benefits of being a rebel. I have translated this academic passion into fare for the layperson in several books. My upcoming book is on minority influence.

My laboratory at George Mason University is highly productive. I produced more than 200 academic publications and am the recipient of the prestigious American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Scientific Early Career Contribution.
